Meet Miss Allie our Staff Manager

Miss Allie is the staff manager at BR. This will be her 18th summer at camp. Allie describes her role as staff manager as incredibly rewarding. She helps the staff facilitate a cohesive and enriching experience for campers while also providing them with valuable life experience and leadership skills that will help them be successful in college and beyond. Her favorite horses at camp are Baron and Marq and the barn is her happy place! 

Allie grew up in Wheaton, IL, and is a graduate of Arizona State University. During the year she is a high school biology teacher in Scottsdale, AZ. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with her 3 dogs and her new horse, Winston. 

Meet Miss Maddie our Program Manager

Miss Maddie is the Program Manager here at BR. She began her time at BR as a camper in 2005 and joined our staff in 2014. During her day-to-day work, Maddie handles camper/parent relations, session preparations and oversees the infirmary. This year, she will also be taking the lead on registration for the 2022 season. Even though she spends most of her day in the office, she loves to go to the Treat Store and barn every afternoon to catch up with the campers and visit her favorite horse, Kenny.

Maddie is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. She is currently attending Wayne State University for her MBA. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling the world, and exploring Michigan. Her favorite country to visit is Italy (Who doesn’t love gelato?).
